Huntsville is super "hot" when it comes to comedy--whether it's local talent featured in the "Best of Huntsville" showcase, or comedians with Netflix specials! Since moving to Huntsville from DC in 2019, I've been to the Stand Up Live Comedy club over 40 times. Some of the major highlights have been seeing my favorite comedian, Kevonstage. Here a little clip from his set when he came to Stand Up Live in January 2023.
A month later, Guy Torry tore down the house, but I've also seen Sommore, Lil Duvall, Rickey Smiley, DL Hughley, Deray Davis, George Wallace and more!

The ticket prices are reasonable, between $20-$50 (for VIP) and a two item minimum. But the food is pretty good, in my opinion.

Here are 5 tips to have a great time at Stand Up Live:
Buy Early to Get VIP for your favorite comedians. You could be in the front row and there are only 50 VIP tickets per show.
Go early because you often have to wait in line outside the venue--even when it's hot or cold weather.
Order your food with your drinks! Sometimes when it's sold out, the kitchen gets backed up and it could be a while before you get your food if you delay.
If you're not hungry, buy a bottle of wine--it counts as 4 items if you're on a date with someone.
Get on the email list! Sometimes they send out steep discounts or FREE tickets to shows!

Go see former Saturday Night Live star Jay Pharoah on Friday May 12th or Saturday May 13th!

You catch "Undercover Brother" Eddie Griffin on Friday July 21 or Saturday July 22, 2023.
